In the last several months I've been receiving a lot of mail, and it's promoted me into creating this new area. You see, some of the letters I've received have been from caregivers wanting to help someone. Others are from new caregivers that are feeling very isolated and are looking for someone to talk to. I began to realize that "what if" there was an easy way to make a connection? What if there was a page where people could go to find a willing ear to listen or a heart that understood?
Anyhow, after pondering it for a while, this page was born through the help of my many "internet angels." Some have experience in Alzheimer's. Other's have expertise in Parkinsons, Multi-Infarct Dementia, Picks Disease and more. Some are husbands, others are wives and some are children and grandchildren.
I've divided them into categories so all you need to do is click on the title of your choice and it will open into that particular topic. In there you will find a choice of children...spouses, etc. Each one has a brief blip about who they are, who they've cared or care for etc. If you find someone you feel a "connection" with then click on their button and write them. I guarantee, these angels are a wonder to behold!
