sailor girlPSP (Progressive Supranuclear Palsy)

I recently had a request asking that I put information into the website about a relatively unknown disease called Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, or PSP for short.

Similar in nature to Parkinsons, it is sometimes referred to as it's 'cousin', and is usually characterized by such things as loss of balance, abnormal rigidity, personality changes and cognitive impairment. So with that in mind, please know that because of these 'traits', some of the information you're about to read might seem to parallel "PD" somewhat. However, this is NOT Parkinson's Disease.

Also, due to the rarity of this disease, I'm afraid there isn't much published about it. However, I hope what you do find below will be useful to you. At the beginning of the directory, you will find articles that are brief and very 'general' in nature, then as you proceed you will find they become more and more 'indepth'.

Please feel free to take anything you feel might be helpful. Simply print it out or copy it to your hard drive or disk.
