Time After Time
If you fall,
I will catch you,
I'll be waitting,
time after time,
You said to go slow,
As the second hand of life un-winds,
I'll make my stand,
Even as we all fall in this life of ours,
We all must just get up and make our stand,
The hills and valleys of life,
Are there for us to explore,
I'm never out of hope,
My eyes always turns to my faith,
Too see the light of life,
Too keep this dream alive,
So each time I fall,
I will get up to walk into the light,
Of life,

A Little Smile Made My Day
Today we had our local G.I. Joe meeting at one of our buddies house to his display of G.I. Joes. We all gathered over at his house and he introduce us to his wife and three small children they have, two girls, 4 and 6, and a little boy, age 3.
Now once our meeting started everyone started to look at his display of G.I. Joes. And here I was really taken aback on how cute his kids where. But they were kind of afraid of all these new men in their house. So I went up to the 6 year old girl and ask her if she knew how to play patty cake? She look at me and said no, so I showed her with my hands how to play patty cake, and it brought a big smile to her face.
As we played patty cake together, her other brother and sister came over to me to play also.
And after I sat down to talk with the other guys about our collections and whats new out there in the line of G.I. Joes, something really kool happen!!! Out of the clear blue this little girl that I had taught how to play patty cake came over to me to sit on my lap on the couch! Even her father, Keith, said wow!! she doesn't do that much.
It was so nice to be abLe to touch some little kids heart in the right way, showing her something new to play, and her she took a liking to Peter!
And here I told her my name was Peter, and she repeated it, and after our meeting was over at Keiths house, I said good bye to his kids, and they all said good-by Peter!
It made my day!!! It was a good meeting, seeing someones elses G.I. Joe displays, but what really made my day, was being able to reach out and touch a little kids heart!
After all, aren't we all just little kids that have grown up in this life of ours, and someday it would be neat to get back into that state of childhood again, and play forever!

The Book of Love
Only one thing turns the gray skys to blue,
And that's the look of love,
Don't judge a book by its cover,
One never knows whats inside,
Until you read and discover,
All the love that's inside,
Who can it be now?
Well its all of us,
Reading whats inside this book,
As you read whats inside,
You too will begin to fly like a beautiful white dove,
Full of love,
And the skys will remain a beautiful bright blue,
And everything in your life will become brand new!
The book of love is for everyone to read,
It comes from your heart and soul,
Then you will come to know,
That living this life is for one reason only,
To fill the world with love,
Then this will be a better place,
For us all to be!

Had Fun In The Park Today
After going out to eat lunch today I drove to our local metro park area where I write alot of my poems and thoughts that I
post here at the message board. These thoughts enter into my
mind as I walk along the paths in the woods of the metro park,
its so peaceful and nice to enjoy.
And as I took my walk thru the park area I saw alot of white pigon like doves over at the
pond area. So I remembered that in my glove box I had a ton of
peanuts, so I took them all out and got to feed them to these
beautiful doves.
Now when I first came up to them all they all
started to walk away from me, being afraid, but as I started to
feed them all the peanuts, they all started to walk right up to
me!!! And I'm not talking about just one or two, had to be at
least 50 or more of them!!! And as I threw these peanuts out to
them they all started to sing and go after these peanuts.
I started to talk to them, and boy did they come around to me!!!
They all loved these peanuts, and they all came very close to
me, not being afraid now, knowing that this guy was out to feed
them all.
And after I was finished with all the peanuts I had I
went back into my car to listen to some music, and here they all
stayed around my car, looking at me and it seem that they too
where listening to the music from my car! And some thoughts
entered into my mind to write down for me to post, and after I
was finished I said good-by to all these beautiful birds, and I
swear, they all look at me as to say, Thanks for feeding us and
we enjoyed listening to the music also!
It was pretty kool seeing these birds and how they responded to me, so this day
Peter had alot of new friends! It was really nice to see
these beautiful birds and how they responded to me, pretty
neat!!! Its always the "Simple Pleasures" in life that make our
days complete!

Chasing The Moonlight
We are together chasing the moonlight,
Going thru the night slow,
Seeing the stars,
Puts away all my fears,
And running thru the sands of life,
Puts me in your command,
As I sit back awhile,
I begin to smile,
Because I still remember your name,
There's no one too blame,
For we will all chase the moonlight,
Feeling the same,
For your saving grace,
Will make me race,
Thru this game of life,
In the right caring, way,
Nothing in the world,
Will turn to rust,
Or dust,
Because my dreams,
Of this life,
Are of you!
