Even though Miss Olivia seems unaware of the world around her, when her daughter and her great-grandson come to the nursing home to visit, they awaken happy memories of her past. Watch a reading of this book on YouTube. (Lester and I went to the same high school. He was a few years younger than me, I think. Though it was published in 1998, I didn't discover his book until Christmas 2001 when I was at my sister's and she showed me her copy.)
