My Sister

My sister passed away in November 2017 after years of battling Parkinson's Disease. She and her husband had lived next door and had been my partners in caregiving during my mother's Alzheimer's. She loved growing flowers, especially daffodils, and she grew around 70 varieties of them. Her husband, Simeon Allen, wrote poetry, and one of his poems is included in the Inspirational Poetry section at this site. He passed away four years later in 2021. They had been married for over 60 years.
